Fall & Spring Fundraisers
Meridian Elementary PTSA holds two major fundraisers each year. The Fall fundraiser typically takes place in late September/early October and includes the sale of such items as magazines, cookie dough, gift wrap etc.. In Spring we hold another fundraiser that may be an Auction or Dinner that features student art and community contributions.
At any time, you can donate directly to Meridian Elementary PTSA's valuable programs and events by sending cash or writing a check to Meridian Elementary PTSA and dropping it by the front office. Many companies offer matching gifts as well (e.g. Bank of America, Boeing, Microsoft etc.) so be sure to check with you company to determine if they are able to match your gift. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Box Tops for Education
Yes, those cereal box tops DO make a difference. Last year we raised over $1,000.00 with this program. Cut out the "Box Tops for Education" rectangle on participating products like cereals, paper products, Ziploc bags, prepared foods like Hamburger Helper and Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, snacks foods, even Boise Paper and some Avery office supplies. For each box top sent to the school, General Mills donates 10 cents to the PTSA.
Check out the Box Tops web site at www.boxtops4education.com and sign up for free drawings for Box Tops! Our school could win thousands of dollars with your help. There are a lot of helpful hints and recipes too. Have your child save the Box Tops labels and turn them in to the red Drop Box by the front office at school and they will be entered in a drawing for a $10.00 gift card from a local merchant. The drawing is usually held during the monthly virtue assembly and is drawn from the box tops submitted to the red drop box by the office.
